On Sunday 28th September, it's the very first Southend Marine Family Fun Day, supported by Southend Radio 105.1!

There's loads going on between 11am and 4pm for all the family on the day, which is raising money for Havens Hospices and the Essex Air Ambulance.

Go and meet Essex Air Ambulance mascot Pilot Pete, have a go at windsurfing and kitesurfing on Chalkwell Beach with the Wet 'n' Dry demo day!

When was the last time you went to the end of the pier? There's entertainment at the end of the pier, including dance and drama and even Punch & Judy! Trains run every thirty minutes.

Book a place on the Waverly Paddle Steamer, departing from the end of the pier at 3pm and returning at 7:30pm. Call 0845 130 4647 for more details.
